Heinz launching baked bean beer in celebration of National Bean Day

American food giant Heinz has announced the launch of a baked bean beer to celebrate National Bean Day on 6th January 2023.

Heinz Baked Bean Beer is a limited-edition craft beer infused with Heinz Baked Beanz.

The 4.1% ABV beer will only be available for purchase through an online ballot system and is described by the company as “the perfect winter warmer”.

Those who are lucky enough to get their hands on it will find a "deep, malty beer with sweet and tangy notes, not dissimilar to the iconic bean and tomato sauce made famous by the brand".

Heinz Baked Bean Beer is the latest in a line of innovative products from the company, which has recently released a range of Heinz Tomato Ketchup-flavoured Mayonnaise and Heinz Tomato Ketchup-flavoured Ice Cream.

The launch of Heinz Baked Bean Beer has been met with a mixed reaction on social media, with some praising the company for its creativity and sense of humour, while others vowing never to try it.
