Badgers Running Back Braelon Allen Suffers Leg Injury
Allen sustain a injury during Wisconsin game with Ohio State
Update on status of the running back
Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen suffered a lower left leg injury in the team's loss to Ohio State on Saturday. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of the game, when Allen was tackled by Ohio State linebacker Tommy Eichenberg. Allen was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he was later seen on crutches.
The severity of Allen's injury is not yet known, but it is expected to keep him out of action for some time. Allen is Wisconsin's leading rusher this season, with 1,268 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. His absence will be a major blow to the Badgers' offense.
Allen is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury. The Badgers will then release an update on his status.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
